While most of us are eagerly waiting for the next Pokémon GO. Even after 8 years, the game is still going strong, thanks to constant updates and fresh Pokémon to catch. And this month, we’re getting Tinkatink as part of the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event.

Hammer time in Pokemon GO!

Tinkatink, the Fairy/Steel-type Pokémon from Generation IX, is finally making its way to Pokémon GO. First introduced in Violet, this little hammer-wielding cutie evolves into Tinkatuff and then into Tinkaton.

You can catch Tinkatink during the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event, running from April 16 to April 22, 2025. To evolve, you’ll need 25 Tinkatink Candy for Tinkatuff and 100 Candy to get the mighty Tinkaton.

Here’s what you need to know about this event:

  1. Tinkatink will hatch from 7 km Eggs. After the event ends, it will hatch from 10 km Eggs.
  2. Elekid, Hatenna, and Charcadet will hatch from 7 km Eggs.
  3. Team GO Rocket balloons will appear more frequently.
  4. 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.

Wild Encounters:

  1. Quagsire
  2. Shuckle
  3. Slugma
  4. Nose
  5. Snorunt
  6. Sprigatito
  7. Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin
  8. Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat
  9. Fuecoco
  10. Quaxly
  11. Pawmi

Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat encountered during this event will know the Charged Attack Volt Tackle.

And of course, there will be increased chances to encounter these Shiny Pokémon:

  1. Shuckle
  2. Slugma
  3. Nose
  4. Snorunt
  5. Sprigatito
  6. Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin
  7. Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat
  8. Fuecoco

Hopefully, we won’t run into any issues like we did with the Catch Mastery event, where there was the whole Shiny Omanyte and Shiny Kabuto problem.

Been with gamepressure.androidapks.biz since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
