Problems with ing FragPunk servers due to network error

It is always sad when you wait for a game and want to play it on release, but some technical issues stop you. Sadly, that is the way of modern gaming. While electronic entertainment becomes better and more sophisticated each year, it goes with more complicated code and additional steps which can go wrong. It seems that FragPunk is also affected by this, as a network error issue is something which plagues players. What can you do about it?

The good news is that developers are aware of the problem and try to fix it as we speak. They have announced it on the official FragPunk Discord channel. So, we can wait. What causes the issue though?

Players have discovered that, at least for many, the source of the issue is/was Eero router. It seems that the Advanced Security setting is blocking the game and causing it to malfunction. Some people turn this option off, however we do not recommend this, as you will be potentially more vulnerable to other threats, and it is not ideal. In our opinion, it’s better to wait for the official solution and if you decide to disable your protection, you do it at your own risk.
