Psychonauts 2 announced at VGA, coming in Fall 2018
Double Fine launched crowdfunding campaign for Psychonauts 2, a sequel to a warmly received 3D platform video game from 2005. The game will hit PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Fall 2016.
Rejoice, Double Fine’s next project is the long-awaited Psychonauts 2, a sequel to a warmly received 3D platform video game from 2005, announced today at VGA. The new adventures of Razputin, a young adept of parapsychic powers (like mind reading), will take him to Psychonauts Headquarters, where the hero will have a great part to play toward the organization’s welfare. Psychonouts 2 is planned to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but to cool down your enthusiasm, this will not happen until Fall 2018.
The developers already started a crowdfunding campaign on Psychonauts) on PC (Windows/Linux) or Mac, you should pledge at least $39 (as the 33-dollar tier was limited and is all now gone).
