War RTS Regiments Available for Free Testing on Steam
Testing of Regiments, a war RTS to be released by MicroProse, has started on Steam.

We have good news for players waiting for Regiments, a realistic war RTS by Bird's Eye Games. Testing of the early version of the game has started on Steam. Currently, all interested parties are welcome to . Just click on "Request access" in the game's tab.
Testing will last at least until the end of January, so you will have plenty of time to check out the game. However, the devs warn that Regiments is still in beta phase and not all elements are fully polished yet. Although the game's performance has been greatly improved in comparison to previous demos, this aspect still needs improvement.
Previous tests offered only standalone skirmish battles. The new version of the game finally lets us check out Operations, a series of linked battles where the consequences of each successive clash are felt throughout the action. This includes not only the numbers of available forces - also wrecks or built fortifications remain on the maps.
Between battles we distribute resources, replenish supplies and units and improve the army.
Regiments is coming exclusively to PC. The release is to take place next year. The publisher of the game will be MicroProse, which has recently returned to the market.
