Latest Resident Evil Games Drive Capcom's Sales
We got to know the latest sales results of the greatest hits by the Japanese developer Capcom. Especially noteworthy are the successes of the last few installments of the Resident Evil series.

Capcom updated the Platinum Titles list, providing the latest sales figures for the publisher's biggest hits. They cover the period from the release until December 31, 2020.
The leader remains Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne, hit the sixth place of the list with 7.2 million copies.
Resident Evil 3 is doing much worse, but the result of 3.6 million copies is not a reason to be ashamed of.
These results are worth comparing with the statement that includes data up to June 30, 2020. Thanks to this we know that in the period from July 1 to December 31 the above games sold as follows:
- Monster Hunter: World - 0.7 million
- Monster Hunter: World- Iceborne - 1.4 million
- Resident Evil VII: Biohazard: 0.6 million
- Resident Evil 2 - 0.6 million
- Resident Evil 3 - 0.9 million

When analysing the list, we need to bear in mind that Capcom treats re-releases and some ports as separate items and their results are counted separately. For example, Resident Evil 5's sales only include the first PS3 and 360 version. The figure does not include the achievements of Resident Evil 5 on PC, as well as Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 .
