Rumors on Visceral's Star Wars female hero, Robie Mattox
Robie Mattox is another main hero featured in the Star Wars action game from Visceral and Amy Hennig. This young woman, decribed as a "gunslinger with an attitude", is the main protagonist's companion.
More rumors came up about the Star Wars action game from Visceral (Dead Space) and Amy Hennig (ex-writer of the Uncharted franchise) via MakingStarWars.net. Last week we met Dodger – the game’s main protagonist – and now it’s time to get acquainted with Robie Mattox. She is Dodger’s faithful companion, and her story might be expanded in a potential sequel.

Visceral’s Star Wars begins to take shape.
Keep that droid away from me
Robie Mattox is a woman in her early 30s, described as a “gunslinger with an attitude”. She was raised as an orphan on Coruscant, level 1313 ( the canceled Star Wars 1313?), having been taken in by the crime family Wandering Star. No wonder the girl has some weird hang-ups – e.g. she doesn’t like droids (and with a medic dorid Doc on board of Dodger’s ship that may result in some interesting tensions).
MakingStarWars.net reports that in most pieces of concept art Robie is portrayed by Natalie Morales, although it is not yet clear whether the actress will actually play the role. Anyhow, the character’s clothing makes her somewhat similar to Dr. Aphra, from the Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic book series, and in some graphics she is seen with a sniper rifle.
Dodger and Robie will make a good team, able to handle some crazy shenanigans together – like kidnapping a daughter of a powerful crime underboss for Jabba the Hutt – all the while keeping their wits and sense of humor, which will surely result in some entertaining conversations between the two.
