Shadowrun Returns creators announce BattleTech kickstarter date
Harebrained Scheme’s BattleTech is getting a Kickstarter campaign later this month. This new sci-fi RPG from Shadowrun Returns creators is coming to PC some time in 2017.

Shadowrun Returns) will again try their luck in a crowdfunding campaign that is hoped to help them bring their next game out in the light. BattleTech will come out on PC some time in 2017.
This new project is a science-fiction turn-based RPG set in the universe of BattleTech wargaming franchise, which has already spawned some video games, including BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception by Westwood Associates. The game is said to feature expanded, open-structured story-driven campaign set in the year 3025. The project is overseen by Jordan Weisman, the creator of a successful MechWarrior series and the original BattleTech. More information will be revealed as the Kickstarter campaign launches later this month.
