As is often the case with games coming out in Early Access, they rarely appear on consoles at the very beginning. In most cases, developers decide to release their unfinished productions only on one platform, usually on PC, in order to focus fully on development and the addition of new elements.
Marek Rosa, one of the creators of Space Engineers 2, in one of the latest videos on their official YouTube channel, itted that at this point they do not want to split the team into smaller parts to work on the console port. He claimed that the team must be focused on one task.
The good news is that the console port will be released, however closer to the Early Access completion date, which could be in two or even three years. To comfort players, we may add that currently one person in the team is working on the console port. Of course, completing such a feat would take a single developer a really long time, although when the game is nearing the finish line, more people will be delegated to help with this task. Therefore, there is nothing left to do but wait or play the PC version of the game.
