Splinter Cell's Creative Director Returned to Ubisoft
Maxime Beland, creative director who led the teams responsible for Splinter Cell: Conviction and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, returned to Ubisoft. Fans hope that this will increase the chances for the next installment of the cycle.

For many years there have been regular reports about the new adventures of Sam Fisher, but so far nothing concrete has come out of it. However, fans of the Splinter Cell series received a new reason for optimism. It turns out that Maxime Beland, the developer who was the creative director of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, has reed to the ranks of Ubisoft.
The artist left the publisher last year, after twenty years of cooperation. He then started working for Epic Games, where he was also the creative director. After returning to Ubisoft, Maxime Beland ed the team responsible for the content and artistic direction of games. We recently learned that this group is to be restructured and expanded to make individual projects more unique and less similar.
Rumors of the next installment have been returning for years. Last April, the president of Ubisoft cooled down the enthusiasm of fans, stating that we will not see the continuation of the adventures of Sam Fisher until the developers set a new direction for the franchise.
