STALKER 2 follows Baldur's Gate 3 footsteps. Post-apocalyptic shooter set to receive cross-platform mod
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will receive cross-platform for mods. Just like in Baldur's Gate 3.

Studio GSC Game World has teamed up with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will receive cross-platform mod by the end of the year.
We've got an established love and ion for STALKER and their modding community. So we're incredibly proud to confirm our collaboration with GSC Game World to bring official cross-platform mod to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 later this year. We'll see you in the Zone!
The devs said last month that they plan to release a trial version of the modding tool to selected people in the second quarter of 2025, and then officially launch its beta version. Thanks to Mod.io, modders will likely share their work with Xbox Series X and S owners as well.
Mod.io is responsible for providing similar mod for different platforms for Larian Studios and their highly acclaimed RPG Baldur's Gate 3. Apart from the creators of the third "Baldur," the company has also worked with big names like Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, and Gearbox Publishing.
