The Last Jedi Director Confirms His Star Wars Trilogy
The Star Wars movie trilogy will most likely come out of the hands of Rian Johnson, confirming earlier reports. This is according to a journalist who recently interviewed the director.

Rian Johnson is a director whose work polarizes the audience around the world. On the one hand, people adore his contemporary detective film Knives Out, praising the work for its originality and freshness, while on the other hand, they reproach him for his painful debut in the Star Wars universe and the creation of the highly controversial The Last Jedi.
Thus, reactions to former reports that the artist was to work on his own Star Wars trilogy were varied. Some fans were already preparing for a disaster, while the rest gave the director another chance, hoping that he will be able to convey his artistic vision better in three movies rather than one. However, the topic of Star Wars movies has been rather quiet and only yesterday we learned something more thanks to journalist Sariah Wilson.
She conducted an interview with Johnson, which has not been made public yet, but internet s wrote to her asking about the trilogy. In response, Wilson decided to dispel fans' doubts and confirmed that Johnson is currently working on new Star Wars films . And while we may not see them in the nearest future, Disney still includes the creator in its plans for the development of the universe.
More details are not available at this point, but the confirmation of the existence of such a project is the news which is at least intriguing. It means that in addition to the Star Wars series coming to Disney, we'll be getting Johnson's films, which is sure to stir up a fraction of the fan community.
