Update
Leaks and unofficial information were very quickly confirmed, because first materials showing Razer's product in its full glory have appeared on the web. Testers noted that although this is only a prototype, it is rather difficult for the device to gain recognition among a wider audience. One argument that could influence the fate of the "cloud gaming machine" could be low price (similar to the Switch OLED), but as Razer usually prices its products highly, this is unlikely to happen. On the other hand, strong developer and ports of PC games to Android could save it, but so far there is no indication that developers are interested in porting "large" productions to mobile devices.
Original news
Qualcomm unveiled a new mobile platform - Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is to be characterized by high performance, energy efficiency and even better cameras. A little earlier we could see the new chips on unofficial photos. They also showed a product that has not yet been officially announced.
We are talking about a devkit of portable console, which was designed in collaboration by Qualcom and Razer. According to the rumor, the console is to be based on the Snapdragon G3x platform, which was created specifically with this type of hardware in mind.
Unofficial information suggests that the new console will be equipped with an OLED display with HDR technology and 120Hz refresh rate, a FullHD camera and a 6000 mAh battery. It will also offer for the 5G standard, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and will use haptic technology. The console is also expected to be extremely ergonomic.

Based on images from the leak we can conclude that the console will be d as a tool for cloud gaming. VideoCardz, the website that published earlier leak of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, mentions for Xbox Game Cloud or streaming from the console or PC.
At this point, we don't know if this portable console will be commercially released or if it will remain just a devkit. It would be interesting to see a gauntlet thrown down to the other portable device of this type, such as Steam Deck. Perhaps everything will become clear during the second day of Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021 (it was at this event that the official announcement of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 took place).
