ESRB has removed the page dedicated to Stray for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions.. Apparently, the organization has gotten ahead of itself to rate the content of these editions of the game - the PlayStation console exclusivity period is valid for 12 months and will end in mid-July this year. Confirmation of the following reports can therefore be expected closer to this date.
In 2022, we saw the release of positive reception both among gamers and industry critics.
The work, currently a Sony console exclusive, could so far only be played by PlayStation and PC s. Soon, however, the four-legged protagonist may also wander onto Microsoft devices. At least that's according to an entry that appeared on ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) - an organization tasked with evaluating content and setting age ratings for video games released in North America.
According to the information posted there Stray has been rated for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. This, in turn, may suggest that these versions of the game are ready for release or very close to it.
However, it should be borne in mind that there have been times when the ESRB has listed games on various platforms that did not ultimately make it to market. So there is nothing left for us to do but to be patient and await official announcements on the matter.
