Iconic German Brand Returns With Unexpected Survival Twist
A new installment of the popular Deponia series has been announced. It will feature survival elements.
Quite unexpectedly, a new installment of the iconic point-and-click adventure game series Deponia was announced at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2023. It is titled Surviving Deponia and is set to debut in early access on PC in the summer of 2023. You can watch the first trailer below.
In of plot, the action of the fifth installment will be set after the events of the prequel. As for the gameplay, on the other hand, we are in for a significant change, because Surviving Deponia will offer survival elements. While solving the mystery of water shortage - caused by the cataclysm from the finale of the predecessor - we will have to build our own house, which will serve us as a hideout from monsters and evil people roaming the world.
Full version of Surviving Deponia will hit not only on PC, but also PS5 and XSX/S.
