Skype has received an update that allows s to add their own background to video calls. This option is available only in the desktop version of the app, except for the Windows 10 release, which can be found in Microsoft Store.

According to Variety magazine, George Miller is auditioning actors for roles in Mad Max: Fury Road spin-off movie. There wouldn't be anything unusual about it if it weren't for the fact that the castings are being held via Skype.

Microsoft has recently updated its and clarified how Cortana and Skype recordings are used. As it turns out, the company from Redmond also uses third parties to assess the quality of the speech recognition mechanism and provides them with fragments of recordings.
