The wait for the 1.4.5 update to Terraria feels endless, but the developers at Re-Logic studio are working to make it more enjoyable by sharing new features that will be included in the hit game. From a recent post on Steam, we learned that the devs are working on another transformation and a charming, but slightly disturbing snack.

The transformation in question will allow players to take the form of a small, luminous fairy. Thanks to this, they will be able to soar high and reach places that are typically difficult to visit. However, it's not clear whether the ability to fly so high will be available immediately with the new form, or whether modifiers such as the current in-game wing power will affect it.

The second revealed feature that will be added to Terraria 1.4.5 is the ability to transform adorable "gem bunnies," which can be found underground... into candies. It sounds a bit disturbing, but eating such a sweetie will give us the energy needed to explore dark caves.

Unfortunately, it is still unknown when the 1.4.5 update will hit Terraria. The devs underlined that they are "working hard on adding a few new elements," improving and balancing what they have already prepared, and "fixing typical bugs." Moreover, they announced that they plan a meeting during which it will be determined what still needs to be done.

It's worth mentioning that although the 1.4.5 update is often referred to as the last one, the head of Re-Logic studio, known as Redigit, has suggested that this may not necessarily be the final stage of Terraria's development.
