Terminator 2D: No Fate, the latest entry from Bitmap Bureau studio, will launch soon. This is a tribute to both retro gaming and the action cinema that shaped an entire generation - as the gameplay is expected to combine the most iconic scenes from Terminator 2: Judgment Day and the arcade style of gameplay, enhanced by the distinctive graphics that the studio became famous for.

In the game, we will play as Sarah Connor, her son John, and the iconic T-800 (in this role, the immortal Arnold Schwarzenegger), and our goal will be to save the world from Skynet. Unlike the movie, however, there won't be just one ending. By making different choices, we will see alternative versions of this story and decide who ultimately triumphs in this battle for the future of the world and civilization.

Love letters from the '80s and '90s

Although Terminator 2 is a cult film, not many games inspired by it have been made. The Bitmap Bureau studio has decided to adapt it into a new, original experience that will combine many elements from various game genres. This approach aims to highlight the best aspects of the film while simultaneously paying tribute to retro-style gaming.

Our team poured its ion into crafting adrenaline-fueled arcade gameplay and stunning pixel art—the very elements that make games special to us. As our first licensed game, we wanted to do justice to the Terminator 2 legacy - wrote Mike Tucker, the game's director.

Terminator 2D: No Fate will be released on September 5th on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The title is already available for pre-order.
