The Witcher 4 devs explained how Ciri will differ from Geralt in combat. „She moves like she was raised by wolves in Kaer Morhen”
CD Projekt Red pointed out that combat will also change with the change in the main character. Ciri in The Witcher 4 will be more agile, skillful, and smaller than Geralt in The Witcher 3, which she will use to her advantage.

The change of the main character from Geralt to Ciri is probably the biggest difference in The Witcher 4 compared to the previous installments of the series. While the developers stress that we will easily identify her as the White Wolf's daughter, it won't simply be a revamp of the same character model. CD Projekt RED draws attention to how the combat evolves along with Ciri.
A few days ago, the 15th video was published on the studio's YouTube channel. It was an episode of the AnsweRED Podcast, in which they delved into the trailer for The Witcher 4. Senior Community Manager, Pawel Burza, pointed out a scene in which Ciri performs a spectacular pirouette, jumping over Bauk, and then catches him with a chain before delivering the final blow. The dev noted that this isn't a move Geralt would make, and the young witcher moves differently from him.
You don't see Geralt doing these things. He's nimble, but he feels like a block in some sense. She's like liquid compared to him.
Sebastian Kalemba, the director of The Witcher 4, mentioned that Ciri "moves like she was raised by wolves in Kaer Morhen, which comes from her personality, posture, and stuff." Her body type is also crucial, which Burza also paid attention to.
You also need to think about it - her body type is much different than what you expect from Geralt. He's more blocky, she's more nimble, and she's smaller, which lets her use that to her advantage, because she's more agile.
There is nothing left to do but wait for the first gameplay materials, which will reveal how Ciri actually moves.
