A new MCU movie is heading to theaters. However, not everyone is a fan of seeing productions on big screens, and as a result, some viewers are waiting for the streaming release of Thunderbolts. This will be a chance to experience the new production about an unusual group of heroes that includes Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker at home.

When is Thunderbolts coming to Disney+?

Like all MCU films, the one about the anti-hero group will also hit Disney+, but when can we expect it there? For now, the release date of Thunderbolts on Disney+ is unknown and we probably won't know it soon. The film won't hit theaters until May 1, 2025, and will spend some time in cinemas before it can be released on streaming.

But based on previous Marvel Studio film releases on Disney+, we can estimate when Thunderbolts might be coming to sVOD. The Marvels, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 hit Disney+ 89 days after their theatrical release, and Deadpool & Wolverine, which did very well in theaters, made its streaming debut 97 days after it was released on the big screen. So it's quite possible that Thunderbolts will hit Disney+ around July 28, 2025, but keep in mind that this is only speculation, not confirmed information.
