Microsoft's latest system is not as popular as the Redmond giant would like it to be. Windows 11 slowed down with growth in March, reveals report from AdDuplex.

Windows 11 is slowing down and can no longer boast such explosive growth in numbers as it did some time ago. This is shown in a report by AdDuplex for March 2022. The data is shown in the pie chart attached below.
Windows 11 is slowing down
Data from the report shows that the current Windows 11 market share is 19.4% compared to various versions of Windows 10. This result is only 0.1 percentage points better than the report covering February 2022. The summary was based on data collected from about 5,000 apps from the Windows Store that use the AdDuplex SDK.

One can come to a conclusion that despite Microsoft's marketing push to get s to install the latest OS, interest in Windows 11 has waned.
While Windows 10 is on the computers of 80% of s, with most of them using the last two updates: Windows 10 N21U (21H2) - 28.5% and Windows 10 M21U (21H1) - 26.5%.

A big problem for some s may be the requirements of W11, which requires a TPM 2.0 module. According to Tech Radar this condition is not met by as much as 1/3 of business laptops and desktops.
Such a slow growth in the popularity of Windows 11 is certainly not how Microsoft imagined it, and the company needs to prepare something that will convince a new wave of consumers to move to the new operating system.
