Xbox Will Run Steam and Epic Games Store Titles, Including Death Stranding
The new version of the Microsoft Edge browser for Xbox consoles will enable us to use platforms originally intended for PC, such as Steam and Epic Games Store.

The Verge reports that Alpha Skip-Ahead testers have received access to a new version of the Microsoft Edge browser (based on the Chromium engine) on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Its new features enable us to access a number of PC-only apps, including Discord, Google Stadia and even GeForce NOW.
We're talking about full-fledged use of these services, so it's possible to communicate via voice chat as well as cloud stream titles from platforms not available on Xbox consoles, i.e., Steam or Epic Games Store.
And sure, most of the games available on GeForce NOW can also be found on Xbox, but there are a few exceptions - one in particular should be mentioned. We're talking about Detroit: Become Human (via Video Games Chronicle).
Note that only alpha testers have access to the new browser version for now - we still have to wait a bit longer.
