The 11th Hour action begins in 1995, sixty years after the shocking events that we experienced in the previous production of Trilobyte's studio, The 7th Guest. The main character of the game is Carl Denning, a reporter working in Case Unsolved, which deals with unexplained crimes. A man's orderly life is drastically transformed when it turns out that the producer of the programme, and also his lover, was lost like a stone into water. The search brings the journalist to the peaceful town of Harley-on-the-Hudson, where Robin has been investigating mysterious crimes for a long time. Willingly and unwillingly, he finally ends up at the estate of Henry Stauf, the same property that witnessed the disturbing events of more than half a century ago.

In of mechanics, 11th Hour is practically the same as its original. The main character wanders around the abandoned property and solves subsequent tasks in the form of logical riddles. The shreds of information about Robin's disappearance and her investigations are stored in a special electronic device, which Denning receives at the beginning of the struggle. The game is often interrupted by the projection of short interludes, which are projected together at every full hour, creating a longer film. The game, as befits a typical adventure, is of course linear. Only after the struggle is over, you can freely visit the whole villa and face many of the challenges previously counted.
