Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is a strategy game in which we command units during airborne warfare. During the skirmishes, both sides give the orders at the same time in turn-based mode. When they are finished, their commands are executed simultaneously in real time, which is shown in a very cinematic way.

The game has an complex combat system. Skirmishes are influenced by such elements as the height and condition of the pilots. During the game, we can give orders, which include not only simple target or attack commands, but also various air manoeuvres and stunts.

Both sides of the conflict have very different machines, armaments and special capabilities. All of them can be modified to a large extent by choosing weapons and parts. There is also the option of developing pilots' skills.

Game modes

Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command offers a single player campaign in which, as commander of the humans or orcs, we must dominate the skies. From skirmish to skirmish, our air fleet is rising and becoming stronger, as new machines are acquired and existing ones are improved, as well as pilots are developed.

In addition, there are seven scenarios, presenting closed self-contained stories. We can play them alone or in multiplayer mode for two players, where each participant takes control over one of the factions.

Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command offers a pleasing three-dimensional graphics that faithfully reproduces the atmosphere of the original tabletop game.
