African Spells is an educational game for the youngest. IRMA's production is designed to provide children with knowledge about nature, which is important for their development, as well as to become a valuable source of entertainment and curiosities about the Black Continent.
African Spells is an educational game for the youngest. IRMA's production is designed to provide children with knowledge about nature, which is important for their development, as well as to become a valuable source of entertainment and curiosities about the Black Continent.
The story presented in the project presents the fate of the Papacy sorceress and her friends from the fairy-tale land called Rainbow Polana, who decided to travel to Africa. On the spot it turned out that Princess Bantuti, a representative of one of the African tribes, met by the heroes, lost her necklace with magical properties. Our charges offered her help and undertook to complete all the elements of the valuable item. In order to do so, they have to emerge victoriously from a dozen or so competitors prepared by the authors of the competition.
Among the mini-games implemented in African Chara one can distinguish such tasks as ship repair, diamond mine expedition, collecting nectar, conjure up rain or visit the oasis to bargain with local merchants. There are also numerous puzzles, rhymes and a mission to load goods. Children with artistic skills can sing a song about Africa, and the little ones who can already read have the opportunity to face a fairy tale written by the scriptwriters.
Apart from presenting strictly entertaining values, the project also influences the intellect of the youngest recipients, teaching them, among others, the names of new plants (papyrus, banana, bamboo) and animals (hyenas, hippopotamus, crocodile, chimpanzee, etc.). It also helps to record the knowledge of numbers and letters of the alphabet, attracting its addressees with colourful, eye-catching visual setting. It is worth noting that the title is completely devoid of violence, making it ideal for pre-school and early school age people.
