Simulator of the airport fire brigade created by the German company astragon specializing in this type of production. The game helps to prevent various accidents endangering the health and life of engers staying at the airport and on board aircraft on its territory.
Airport Firefighter Simulator 2013 is a simulator of a fire brigade stationed at the airport. German astragon Software studio is responsible for the creation of this production, which has in its portfolio a number of other simulators related to various areas of everyday life.
The game takes us to the territory of an airport created especially for this production and occupying more than 24 square kilometers of space - on its territory we will find two terminals, enger and cargo, containing several points of sale and service, check-in desks or large waiting rooms. In total, the authors included in the game nearly 200 objects that may burn down, which we must protect from destruction in the framework of several scenarios prepared by the creators.
We start each action by recognizing the situation in the command center of the airport fire brigade - this is a large point containing a lot of utility rooms. You can spend your free time relaxing in the living room, eating meals in the kitchen or exercising in the gym. The latter are also important from the point of view of our condition, as they influence the length of time we can withstand in extreme conditions - the health condition is indicated by a warning system against emaciation of the body.
During the mission we use a dozen or so different vehicles equipped by the airport fire brigade - among them there are water cannons, fire engines or combat vehicles. Our activities are carried out both inside the terminal and on the apron - for example during the evacuation of engers from a burning aircraft. The game is shown from the first-person perspective.
The graphic design is reminiscent of other simulator productions - uncomplicated room designs and animations of people present at the airport clearly indicate that we are dealing with low-budget production.
