Plot

Aka takes us to the picturesque archipelago. During the game, we play as a red panda, who, after the end of the bloody war, comes here to regain inner peace. Wanting to forget about the traumatic experiences, she has to do her best not to let the demons of the past remind her of themselves.

Mechanics

In Aka we observe the action from a camera hanging above the character. Production gives us an open world, which consists of various biomes. We can find here both picturesque beaches and forests or snowy mountains. Wandering through them, we encounter a variety of animals and other creatures, which we can help in solving their problems (for example, by feeding small dragons) or interact with them in other ways (for example, by taking a nap on the back of a large capybara). In addition to exploration, our red panda can deal with cultivating the land and preparing tasty meals and potions, as well as obtaining resources needed to produce various items and construct various structures and small buildings.

Technical aspects

The colorful, cartoonish graphics of Aka match well with the calm pace of gameplay and the idyllic atmosphere that (at least at first glance) prevails in the game world.
