Alien Terminator Deluxe is a skillful shooting in s-f climates. The player controls a futuristic combat vehicle, and his task is to destroy the alien bases scattered on the planets of the Solar System. The title was produced by GameTop.
Alien Terminator Deluxe is another GameTop production available free of charge in electronic distribution. Play-publishing Publishing has also prepared a paid edition of the title, distributed on traditional optical media (CDs).
The action of the game takes place in the future. An aggressive race of aliens attacked the Earth. The aliens did not give people a chance to prepare an effective defence. However, we managed to decipher one of the enemy's reports, in which the location of his bases on the planets of the Solar System was indicated. The management of the United Land Forces decided to implement the "Star Avenger" project and to build an ultramodern combat vehicle capable of destroying strangers.
The player takes on the role of a pilot, who has been appointed to operate the Star Avenger. A vehicle reminiscent of a floating, armored truck is equipped with a number of futuristic weapons, including a laser gun, a plasma rifle and a rocket launcher. They are complemented by grenades and a special laser thrower, which, however, can only be used in exceptional situations.
The game consists in spectacular extermination of aliens and destruction of their bases. The action is shown from the perspective of a third person. The player simultaneously manoeuvres the vehicle (using the arrows on the keyboard) and directs the fire (using a computer mouse). Each of the missions of the main campaign consists of a series of consecutive tasks such as 'destroy the force field' or 'kill X aliens'.
Alien Terminator Deluxe has a decent three-dimensional visuals with relatively low hardware requirements. The party is made more pleasant by the climatic soundtrack.
