Amok is a three-dimensional shooting seen from the perspective of a third person, in which we play the role of Gert Staun - a mercenary piloting a combat vehicle called Slambird. Our hero is hired by the Office, an underground organization that wants to create a conflict between the two powerful corporations that rule the eponymous planet. We will do this by performing a series of sabotage actions, weakening both fractions.

The struggle in Amok was divided into nine large missions, taking place in different sceneries (desert, ocean floor, ruined city and underground caves). In each scenario, the commanding officer commissions us to carry out specific tasks - in most cases a generator or other building has to be razed to the ground. Of course, there are plenty of enemies on the way to the target, from soldiers on sharks to underwater stages. The mission goals are known before the start of the game, but they are also displayed during the game, along with an arrow for easy orientation. Once you have done the work of destruction, you have to leave the level through a special exit - in the meantime, you can try to find hidden locations, of which there are at least a few in each mission.
