The eleventh big add-on to the popular 2019 economic strategy game. The biggest novelty introduced in Anno 1800: Empire of the Skies is airships, among which you will find both civilian and military models.
Anno 1800: Empire of the Skies is the eleventh big expansion for the economic strategy game titled Anno 1800, released in 2019. The add-on was developed by the authors of the original, namely Ubisoft Blue Byte studio (or more precisely - its division in Mainz, ).
Anno 1800: Empire of the Skies introduces a new scenario that focuses on airships. In it, we take on the role of an independent, growing operator, transporting mail around the world.
Airships are the biggest novelty introduced in Anno 1800: Empire of the Skies. Constructed from new materials, the innovative airships allow not only to distribute mail to the most remote corners of the world, but also to transport manpower between cities. Moreover, our citizens themselves can board them to travel around the world.
In addition to civilian airships, the add-on in question includes military airships, with which we can conquer distant islands. However, it should be borne in mind that the same capabilities are available to our opponents, so it is advisable to provide our city with a solid anti-aircraft defense in advance.
Anno 1800: Empire of the Skies is not a standalone add-on, so it requires the basic version of Anno 1800 to work. The expansion does not introduce any changes to the audiovisual layer.
