Anno 1800: The Sunken Treasures is the first big add-on to The Settlers series.
The Sunken Treasures allows players to enjoy a new story line, in which the search for the missing queen will lead them to Cape Trelawney, which was once the site of a great sea battle. On their way, players will try to recover the royal scepter from the wreck of one of the ships, which will require cooperation with an inventor specializing in deep-sea diving equipment.
The expansion doesn't change any of the basic elements of Anno 1800 game. Instead, the authors focused on expanding the content. The Sunken Treasures also introduces into the game a new European session, including not only small, medium and large islands, but also one powerful one, three times the size of the largest areas in the basic version of the game.
The expansion also offers a new trading partner known as Old Nate. His inventions can be constructed within a crafting system. Among them we will find a new type of ship, equipped with a diving bell.
Apart from these inventions, there were also additional objects related to adventures and decorative objects. All in all, The Sunken Treasures introduces over a hundred new items into the game.
This is a DLC that is not independent, so it requires the full version of the game to work.
