Another World: 15th Anniversary Edition is a remastered edition of the legendary action adventure game that was originally released back in 1991.
The player assumes the role of Lester, a young professor of physics who, as a consequence of a failed experiment, involuntarily goes to a fantasy world full of dangers. Since the land he ended up in is full of hostile soldiers, Lester is forced to constantly fight for his life. Luckily, among other slaves he will find a loyal friend who is going to help him survive the endless pursuit.
Another World is an attempt to combine classic action game with elements characteristic of adventure genre. The player not only has to dive into wild firefights against evil guards, but also to think of a way to overcome the obstacles that pile up on the way to his destination.
The 2006 remaster is compatible with the newest Windows operating systems. The game can be run with the original graphics or in one of a few high-resolution modes (that a maximum of 1280x800 pixels). Apart from the enhanced visuals, Another World: 15th Anniversary Edition offers a remastered soundtrack which is also included on an audio CD in the game box.
