Game mechanics

In Anvil Saga we have to manage a forge, create items and take care of customer satisfaction. The gameplay takes place in real time. Each order requires the right resources and time. The player has to make time, because the patience of customers has its limits and if we procrastinate too much, they will abandon the order.

With the money we earn, we can develop the forge by installing additional stations in it. Over time we will also add underground sections, living quarters for us and subordinates, a gym and a library, among others. Each room also needs furniture. After a while, it also becomes necessary to hire employees and take care of their happiness and development of their skills.

Customer satisfaction makes our reputation grow, so that we receive more and more lucrative orders. A high reputation also means that from time to time we have the opportunity to complete an extra-paying special task, such as making a ring for a baron's daughter or forging a special sword for a king.

By making decisions and completing orders, the player also shapes his relationships with the factions involved in the war, each of which offers protection and a bonus to our enterprise. Choices also affect the game world and the development of the storyline.
