Mechanics

In the PC and PS4 release of Apex Construct players get to observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game, one traverses futuristic locations and solves more or less complicated environmental puzzles. On their way to complete the game's objective, players have to eliminate many hostile machines with their bow.

Skillful utilization of weapons allows you to progress through the game without any injuries (this includes mostly aiming at weak spots located on the mechanical enemies). The game features a high replayability ratio thanks to the fact that players can choose their own way to the objective. Moreover, one can retry previously completed missions to discover previously unseen paths and secrets. The resources players find on their way can be spent on upgrading their gear.

To play the game described herein, you have to own VR headgear and dedicated motion controllers. This allows you to look around the in-game world by moving your head. You can also aim from the bow and interact with objects such as terminals and switches by moving your hands.

Technical aspects

Apex Construct for PC and PS4 features decent quality visuals, especially for games developed for VR headgear. Players are bound to appreciate original enemy character models. On their adventure, one is accompanied by a dedicated, electronic soundtrack.
