Arcade Islands: Volume One is an unusual production, in which you discover islands of a colorful fantasy archipelago. Each island features different arcade challenges. Completing those and earning points allows you to gather treasures and unlock other games. There are 32 games with varied gameplay mechanics—some involve running and jumping, others involve shooting, and others still test your mind and memory.
Arcade Islands: Volume One allows you to play on your own or with other players in the local multiplayer mode. You can either cooperate with others or play against them.
The production features pleasant and very colorful visuals, mostly in 2D. The amusing style sometimes resembles illustrations for stories for children.
