An FPP simulation game in which we run our own arcade. Arcade Paradise includes over 35 different arcade machines, each of which we can play. The game s singleplayer and local multiplayer during the arcade mini-games.
Arcade Paradise is a simulation game in which we run our own arcade. It was developed by an indie studio Nosebleed Interactive.
The story of Arcade Paradise doesn't matter much. We play as Ashley, whose father has entrusted her with the family laundromat. The protagonist has a much more interesting business idea in mind, however, as she decides to transform it into a thriving arcade.
Arcade Paradise is a first-person game (FPP). Since we start the game off with nothing, the family laundromat is our initial priority. We must wash clothes brought by customers, clean up and take out the trash. Over time our wallet starts filling up and we'll be able to afford our first arcade machine. Our collection slowly grows as we proceed through the game, until eventually there's no trace of the old laundromat left.
The game features over 35 machines, each equipped with a unique game inspired by an actual iconic game from the arcade era. They include racing games, beat 'em ups, fighting games and shoot 'em ups. Most importantly, we can play every single one ourselves, striving to achieve better results.
Arcade Paradise is mostly a singleplayer game, but every arcade mini-game s local multiplayer for two people.
Visually, Arcade Paradise is decent, at a similar level to other simulation games. The arcade mini-games feature pixel art graphics reminiscent of the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. The soundtrack, coming from the jukebox in our arcade, is similarly inspired by the 1990s, the arcade golden age.

Game Ratings for Arcade Paradise Video Game.
Screen Rant: 3.5 / 5 by William Cennamo
Overall, Arcade Paradise does exactly what it set out to do, it creates the nostalgic feelings of an old 90s arcade. The aesthetic is well-developed, and each of the 35 arcade games are enjoyable to play on their own. If owning and running an old-school arcade is something you've always dreamed of, this game will provide that, with much less maintenance cost.
Digital Chumps: 9 / 10 by Will Silberman
If I could go back, even for a moment, to the mid-90s era of coin-operated arcades, I would seek the closest facsimile to Nosebleed Interactive's arcade that is so perfectly constructed within Arcade Paradise VR. Until a time machine becomes available, I'll settle for putting on my PSVR2 and playing some familiar arcade titles that translate pretty darn well in the VR space, Sense controllers and all.

What a thing. Arcade Paradise made me think of Outrun and GTA and Mr Driller, and also my own working life in my teens as a dishwasher and a double-glazing salesperson, sure. But it also made me think of those mazes tiled on the walls of Warren Street tube. Warren Street! Get it? Little puzzles made to be solved between trains, but tricky enough to encourage you to miss your train in the first place. Then you solve the maze and you're off into a wider maze of the underground network. And maybe, who knows, there's a maze beyond that too.
