Dynamic TPP shooter, designed primarily to play in co-op. In Arcadegeddon from Illfonic studio we play the heroes whose task is to save the futuristic supergame from the evil corporation's temptations.
Arcadegeddon is a TPP shooter, created for co-op mode. The game was developed and published by Illfonic studio - a team whose portfolio includes such projects as Predator: Hunting Grounds.
In Arcadegeddon we play as daredevils whose task is to save the local arcade. Gilly, its owner, wanting to save his business from the heartless Fun Fun Co. corporation, decided to combine all the best games from his machines and in this way create a real superproduction. However, his enemies managed to break into the newly built game machine and infect it with a virus. The characters we play are the last hope for both the game itself and the entire arcade, which is the last place of its kind in the whole city.
In Arcadegeddon the game takes place in varied biomes, among which we can find tropical Mystic Isles, postapocalyptic metropolis Aftermath or even Gilly's Nerve Center, which is a center of super-game. During the game we deal primarily with the elimination of hordes of enemies. We kill them using an extensive arsenal, as well as a variety of combat skills and special hacks that help to tip the balance of victory on our side. In addition, there are various mini-games and special challenges that allow you to fight fierce duels with other players.
A separate mention belongs to the gangs visiting Gilly's salon. Each of these nine groups has tasks for us, the completion of which allows us to gain access to new abilities for our character and various cosmetic accessories. We also find new equipment in chests scattered around the maps.
Despite the fact that Arcadegeddon allows you to play alone, the game shows its strength in multiplayer mode for up to four players. In addition, the game features online rankings, through which we can boast of our achievements to the whole world.
Arcadegeddon graphic design is kept in a colorful, cartoon style, which may evoke associations with the visual layer of Fortnite. The game is accompanied by a soundtrack written by such musicians as Aaron Rutherford, UZ, Milano, South and even the president of Illfonic studio - Charles Brungardt.
