The newest version of Arcana Heart 3, a fighting game that debuted in 2011 on 7th generation consoles. It features newest improvements from the Japanese arcade version of the game. The title is a classic fighting game that features more than twenty female characters.
Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars!!!!!! for PC is another version of the third entry in the series of two-dimensional fighting games Arcana Heart 3 and it was based on the newest edition available in arcades (the previous editions were released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC). The title debuted thanks to the of fans who financed its release during a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in July 2017. Thanks to the gathered funds the developers were able to add a new character and arcane to the game and they promised to release DLC with even more characters.
At the beginning of the game the player selects one female character from a list of more than twenty available characters. The warriors can belong to one of four categories that differ in attack strength and defense capabilities. The categories are: defensive, balanced, offensive and unique. Characters from the unique category only use unusual attacks and strategies that don’t fit remaining categories. Once the player decides which female warrior to use, they must then choose from more than twenty arcanas. Each of them is assigned to one tarot card and provides unique powers that can improve strength of the attack, defense or add new special attacks. One of the keys to victory in combat lies in selecting a combination of character and arcana that fits player’s style.
The combat style and controls should be familiar to everyone who previously played two-dimensional fighting games. One of the characteristic traits of the game is the height of arenas on which the players are fighting. Their construction enables the players to perform very high jumps and fight in the air. If controls and performing combos are too hard for the player, it is possible to activate simplified combat system that enables everyone to perform even the most advanced combinations.
The developers of Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars!!!!!! for PC provided a few game modes. The first one is a campaign that features fully dubbed cutscenes between battles and a story that is a direct continuation of the events from previous games. There are additional scenarios from previous versions as well. In addition to that, the game features traditional game modes like training, versus, score attack and survival score attack in which players gain a bit health by defeating waves of enemies. There is also a time trial and the possibility to complete series of challenges. Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars!!!!!! s an advanced multiplayer mode that enables players to face each other through the Internet.
The graphics in Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars!!!!!! for PC should be liked by all fans of Japanese animations. Colorful and unusually designed characters are fighting on varied two-dimensional arenas. Graphics effects of special attacks complete the experience.
