Arco

Arco is a production on the border of tactical games and RPGs. It is the result of a collaboration between independent Polish artist Frank Nowotniak, Australian developer Max Cahill, Spanish composer and sound designer known by the pseudonym Bibiki, and a Mexican creator known as Fayer.

Gameplay

In Arco we watch events from a bird's eye view.

Game world and story

The game transports us to a fantasy world reminiscent of the Wild West. Each of the characters we embody has been given a separate campaign, telling the story of their revenge on the gang known as the Red Company. Our choices shape the fates of the protagonists and influence how their adventures end.

And these adventures lead us through various locations, such as plains stretching to the horizon, sandy deserts, or lush forests. As we explore them, we push the story forward, recruit allies ready to us, and engage in battle with opponents.

Combat and character development

On our way, we encounter both hostile people and aggressive monsters inhabiting this area. A turn-based combat system has been implemented in the game. What distinguishes the combat is the fact that the participants of a given battle plan their moves simultaneously and also execute the actions that way.
