The action presented in Ashes of Oahu is inspired by Hawaiian beliefs and traditions. The island was visited by a mysterious, dark force influencing its inhabitants.
The player takes on the role of Kai. This man was beaten to death, and his son was kidnapped. He is resurrected by his guardian spirit and tries to find his child and free the island from the yoke of dark power.
During the adventure the player makes many different decisions. Each of them influences the further course of the adventure and its conclusion.
The gameplay in Ashes of Oahu is shown from the third person perspective. The player goes to the open world, where he has to complete the next main and side tasks and fight the enemies he meets. The island is inhabited by four different factions. Depending on the decisions made during the game, they will be different.
Over the course of the adventure, the player gains an experience point, needed to unlock new abilities. The game offers a total of more than 50 different skills affecting different aspects of the game. Ashes of Oahu also has an extensive crafting . During the exploration, raw materials are accumulated from which new items can be made.
Ashes of Oahu only allows you to play alone.
