By creating the second part, developers from the Sahmon studio have set themselves the goal of significantly expanding the game, introducing a number of improvements and new elements of the game.
Astro Avenger II was set after the events presented in the first part. It turns out that the calm in the galaxy did not last long. Humanity entered the second Golden Age of development and began to dynamically expand its sphere of influence. Unexpectedly strange, hostile beings emerged from the unexplored abysses of the Cosmos. Attempts at diplomatic action have failed. Aliens attacked the Central Planet. In remote research stations, scientists began intensive work on a new weapon that could destroy a huge mother ship of intruders. Unfortunately, when the weapon was almost ready, the enemy launched another attack. Thus the spectre of annihilation hung over the human race. The only chance to save is a talented star fighter pilot, who will be able to recover fragments of a secret weapon.
As befits a classic space shooter in the climates of opera, the player takes command of a small spacecraft, and his task is to sow destruction among a hordes of enemy units. The creators have prepared a total of 50 levels located in 5 different galaxies, where you can meet 35 types of enemies. Compared to the original, the number of available star fighter models has been increased to five, and many new options for upgrading weapons have been introduced.
In of design, Astro Avenger II is distinguished by an eye-catching 3D visuals. The game is characterized by high dynamics with a lot of exciting clashes, which brings to mind the best productions of this genre.
