Atomic Heart: Enchantment Under the Sea

Atomic Heart: Enchantment Under the Sea is the third expansion (after Annihilation Instinct and Trapped in Limbo) for the science-fiction shooter titled Atomic Heart, released in February 2023. The DLC was developed by the authors of the original, namely the Russian studio Mundfish.

Gameplay

Atomic Heart: Enchantment Under the Sea continues the plot started in the base version of the game. The search for a way to save humanity from a real catastrophe leads us to the underwater Neptune Research Center. The adventure leads through Center 3826. Some of its areas, like the flying city of Chelomey, have been taken over by robots and changed dramatically.

In addition to new locations, the expansion gives us access to previously unavailable weapons, gadgets, and abilities. The arsenal now offers an electric hammer Thunderclap and the double-barreled shotgun KM-4 Kuzmich, while the hero's skill set has been expanded to include throwing fireballs and dealing area damage (Blaze). There is also a Whip - a rope with a hook, which allows us to pull ourselves towards enemies or reach hard-to-access places.
