In Atre: Dominance Wars we control a powerful being known as the Elder, whose goal is to become a god and take control of a magical fantasy land.
The game places a strong emphasis on story. The authors have prepared a rich history for their universe, which influences how the world and its inhabitants react to our decisions.
Atre: Dominance Wars is a strategy belonging to the 4X category, which means that the fun revolves around exploring the world, expanding our empire, exploiting resources and exterminating competing factions.
The game also contains several elements that distinguish it from typical 4X titles. Instead of the standard turn-based gameplay, we get real-time fun here. In addition, the game places great emphasis on simulation elements taken from the so-called god games, including the Populous or Black & White series. The overall goal is for the player take on the role of a god.
During the game we must both develop cities and gather legions of the faithful. Gaining new powers, researching spells, and creating artifacts also play a key role.
Of course, the game also features wars, where our armies are led into battle by immortal heroes known as Avatars, whose abilities are gradually developed as we progress through the game.
The game allows us to play alone or in multiplayer, both in co-op mode and in PvP competition against other players.
Atre: Dominance Wars features eye-catching three-dimensional graphics, the main advantage of which are the interesting unit designs.
