Auro: A Monster-Bumping Adventure, released on AND and iOS, is an unconventional roguelike, developed by Dinofarm Games, known for its successful 100 Rogues. The game is available in a model meaning that it doesn't have any additional microtransactions.

Mechanics

At first glance, Auro brings to mind the excellent Hoplite. The game has 2D graphics with nice animations. The fights take place in relatively small randomly generated chambers, which have been divided into hexagonal fields. The game uses a turn-based combat system. However, the creators introduced a certain modification to the fun mechanics, which radically changes the character of battles.

The clashes aren't about slaying enemies but to push them out of the board directly into the water. The player does this using a magic stick and nine spells. The goal is to repel invasions of dark forces.
