Game mechanics

Backfirewall_ is an adventure game that focuses on solving puzzles. We can explore the inside of the smartphone and get to know the many applications that inhabit it with their own stories, such as Photos, Health or Social Media F.

The game focuses mainly on puzzles - we search for errors or cause them, cut binary trees, control music-controlled platforms, collect errors and delete data thanks to special codes. Each of the available challenge types differs in its mechanics, providing a great variety of gameplay.

The game is additionally varied by numerous collectibles. We can find abandoned text messages, which allow us to discover a parallel story about the life of the phone's owner.

Game modes

The game was developed solely with single player mode in mind.
