Mechanics

The gameplay in Backyard Sports: Rookie Rush has little to do with realism. ittedly, matches are played with respect for the basic rules of American football, but the gameplay is rather arcade, and during the matches, players can use various special attacks and moves (e.g. Banana Peel, Twinkle Toes and Stinky Pants). The creators also took care to diversify the fun through mini-games related to the training of characters and teams.
