Bahnsen Knights is a visual novel adventure game, telling the story of a cult, searching for hell within the heavens. The gameplay revolves around making choices and solving puzzles.
Bahnsen Knights is a visual novel adventure game. It was developed by an indie Argentine team, LCB Game Studio, founded by two creators - writer Nico Saraintaris and artist Fernando Martinez Ruppel. The duo's been previously responsible for Mothmen 1966 and Valley Lake. Along with Bahnsen Knights, both these games are part of a loose series called Pixel Pulps.
The playable character is a law enforcement officer tasked with investigating a mysterious cult, the Bahnsen Knights. Its speed through American roads chasing tornadoes, convinced they're a pathway to hell high up in the heavens.
Apart from discovering their true motives, we must also find out what happened to our friend, agent Cupra, gone missing after trying to infiltrate the Knights' ranks.
Bahnsen Knights is a visual novel adventure game. The player will mostly follow the story and make choices that affect its further course. The gameplay is made more varied by occasional puzzles and mini-games, such as solitaire.
The story of Bahnsen Knights is highly non-linear. Our choices guide the plot to one of several endings. This means seeing all the game has to offer requires several playthroughs.
The game only s singleplayer.
Bahnsen Knights features intriguing visuals and an unusual pixel artstyle modeled on 8-bit computer games.
