In the world presented in the game, an important role is played by the Bakugans. They appeared on Earth as a result of a collision with another inhabited planet, Vestoria. In the beginning, alien creatures only appeared in the form of cards, which made people come up with a game that uses them. It has become particularly popular among children and young people. However, it turns out that the creatures are closed and only during the fight do they take their actual form.
Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is a typical representative of the action RPG genre. During the game, the player explores an open world, in which districts are separated according to different environments, talks to the NPCs he meets, performs missions and collects more Bakugans. The power of these creatures is based on the elements - Aquos (water), Pyrus (fire), Haos (light), Ventus (wind), Darkus (darkness) and Aurelus (earth).
The fight is carried out in special arenas in real time and focuses on tactical planning of movements. During the skirmish, the player places three chosen Bakugans. They have different skills, depending on the element from which they draw their strength. This allows you to create combinations of attacks, increasing the damage. Creatures can be equipped with armour - Baku-Gear - to improve their strength and add new abilities.
On the arena where the clashes are taking place, there are also special energy cores. When the trainer collects enough of them and throws the chosen creature, additional powerful attacks will be unlocked.
Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia offers not only a single player adventure. The team formed during the campaign can be used for online PvP games.
