Baldur's Gate Expansion Pack
Release Date: May 6, 1999
Plugin to a very well-known RPG game, in which the story was developed and a few new elements were introduced. The fictional extension is maintained in more eruptive climates and contains complex underground, full of traps and secret ages. The authors also added about 70 objects, 20 spells and a few other interesting things.

Tales of the Sword Coast is the expansion for Baldur’s Gate. The action here is more RPG-like; there is much less exploration in search of points of interest. The labyrinths finally pose some challenge: traps, secret ages, teleportation, doppelgangers making us unsure what is true and what is false. And the monsters which are more than a match for our party. Tales of the Sword Coast is not a sequel to Baldur’s Gate, though, but merely an expansion pack. The action of the add-on takes place outside the main story and is a separate set of quests. In order to play it, Baldur’s Gate must be installed.

Baldur's Gate (English. Baldur's Gate) is a series of isometric RPGs set in the Forgotten Realms universe (created by Canadian high fantasy writer Ed Greenwood), based on modified mechanics of the second edition of the manual for Dungeons and Dragons (a role-playing RPG licensed from Wizards of the Coasts). BioWare studio and publisher Black Isle Studios are responsible for the first two installments of the series and their supplements; their release in Poland was handled by CD Projekt. Work on the third installment of the series, announced nineteen years after the release of "two," was entrusted to Belgium's Larian Studios, known for its warmly received RPGs in the series Divinity.
