Ballistic Overkill for the PC is focused exclusively on the PvP mode (player vs. player). The game offers more than 80 different weapons, 10 maps, 4 game modes, and 7 character classes with special skills: the Berserker (an expert in close quarters combat), the Vanguard (sharpshooter and survival expert), the Wraith (sniper and infiltrator), the Shadow (fast and deadly), the Grenadier (an expert in all kinds of explosions), the Tank (extremely hard to kill and equipped with a machine gun), and the Marksman (intelligence specialist, characterized by high flexibility and perceptiveness).
Ballistic Overkill, for the PC platform, has three-dimensional graphics that are unlikely to impress anyone. The priority for the creators was clearly to provide reasonable hardware requirements, thus enabling comfortable gameplay on many hardware configurations.
