A several-hours long story DLC included in the Season to the action game Batman: Arkham Origins released in 2013. Just like the original game, the expansion was developed by WB Games Montreal. The story of Cold, Cold Heart features Batman’s trying to stop Mr. Freeze — one of the super villains from the original comic books — whose actions threaten lives of guests at the New Year’s Eve "Humanitarian of the Year" gala. In of gameplay, Cold, Cold Heart copies the mechanics used in Batman: Arkham Origins, therefore we get to freely traverse open locations, solve environmental puzzles, sneak into guarded rooms, and fight powerful opponents using high-tech gadgets. A novelty introduced in the expansion is the new version of Batman’s suit that enables the hero to operate under extremely low temperatures. In order to enjoy the contents of Cold, Cold Heart you have to have the original game installed. As for the graphics, DLC uses the same technology as Batman: Arkham Origin, that is Unreal Engine 3.
